Heat Carrier Paraffin

The heat carrier, which is filled with paraffin, is used in the heat therapy and has to be heated in a hot air oven.

The Fango Paraffin is very solid in its original form. By heating, the material becomes fluid and can be modelled on the patient. The product is characterized by particularly good modelling properties. The heat medium is particularly effective when combined with a natural moor pack or a moor pack.

The heat transfer medium is heated in a hot air oven at 50 – 60 degrees Celsius. The paraffin in the interior becomes liquid and the heat carrier can be used in combination with a natural mudpack. Please note that the outer foil has to be max. 80 degree heat resistant.

For optimal heating, we recommend heating the heat transfer medium in the hot air oven APS 18N. By this type of heating, the heat carrier keeps the heat very well. To ensure that the patient and the heat carrier do not cool too quickly, we recommend the use of safety catches or a fango. For further products and therapeutic products, please visit our online shop.
